These Cadets Are Like Thunderbirds in Planes Without Engines


In addition to their flying skills, the Cadet ‘Acro’ Soaring Team also has some great GoPro skills.  You may remember their first video last year.  It turned out to be quite a hit.  This year’s video is even better.

The USAF Aerobatic Demonstration Team performs for 1.2 million spectators annually. As a member of the International Aerobatic Club, the team holds the national collegiate title. Since 1986, the USAF Aerobatic Demonstration Team has been performing aerobatic demonstrations at events worldwide. In 1998, the team began to compete in the International Aerobatic Club (IAC) competitions and have been ranked nationally from 2001 to present. After an exciting season this year, Senior cadet pilots Andy Leeuwenburg, Dustin Rivich, and Matt Villanueva will be representing the United States at the World Aerobatic Championships in Poland later this year.
